A Note From Our Founder

At 7 Eagle Group, we’re driven by a profound respect for the brave men and women who have served our nation. Our mission is to connect Military Veterans and Transitioning Service Members with lucrative and rewarding careers because we believe those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom deserve opportunities that match their dedication and valor.

A Personal Legacy of Service and Gratitude

The origin of 7 Eagle Group lies in a deeply personal story of admiration, respect, and a sense of responsibility. My father, Joel Kern, a World War II U.S. Army Veteran who bravely fought in the Philippines, instilled in me a profound appreciation for the sacrifices made by our military heroes. Though he never pressured me to follow in his footsteps, I realized I had missed out on an extraordinary experience. As I grew older, I felt a deep longing to serve my country, a sense of duty that only intensified with time.

At only 17, my father enlisted in the Army, driven by patriotism and a sense of duty after the attack on Pearl Harbor. Leaving behind a life of poverty in Boston, he bravely ventured beyond the city limits for the first time, bound for an unforgettable journey. He considered it an privilege to serve his country, a sentiment that would stay with him for a lifetime.

Although I never had the privilege of wearing a uniform, my gratitude for our veterans only grew stronger. I felt compelled to find an alternative way to express my appreciation and make a meaningful difference in their lives. Leveraging my expertise in career development, I founded 7 Eagle Group as a tribute to my father’s service and the selflessness of all Veterans who have protected our freedom. This endeavor is my way of honoring their legacy and empowering those who have served our nation to thrive in their post-military careers.

A Calling to Serve

We recognize that transitioning from military service to civilian life is challenging. That’s why we’re dedicated to providing a supportive and guided path to exciting career opportunities. Our amazing team takes pride in understanding the unique skills and strengths that Veterans bring to the table, and we work tirelessly to match them with careers that leverage their talents and experience.

After the war, dad seized the opportunity to pursue a college degree through the GI Bill, a benefit he cherished deeply. As the captain of the Brown U. baseball team, his talent and fierce competitive spirit shone brightly, as he later secured a professional contract with the Cleveland Indians eventually reaching AAA (and a whopping $250/year salary!).

At 7 Eagle Group, we believe that our Veterans deserve more than just a job – they deserve a career that ignites their passion, challenges them to grow, and provides a sense of purpose and fulfillment. We’re committed to helping them achieve their dreams and build a brighter future for themselves and their families.
