  • Stay Engaged in Career Development—To ensure a smooth transition into your post–military career, continue attending hiring and networking events, interview role-playing sessions, and career coaching with your Veteran Success Coordinator at 7 Eagle Group.

Expectations

7 Eagle Group abides by the DoD SkillBridge requirement that85% of participants are permanently hired upon program completion. Being excused from your military responsibilities for participating in SkillBridge is a privilege. We seek serious candidates only. 7 Eagle Group is not the ideal fit if your post-SkillBridge plans include attending college full-time, traveling, or retiring.

If accepted, you must meet our expectations. Failure to comply will result in dismissal from the SkillBridge. You will return to your unit until your official separation date.

  • Attend four hours of live instructor-led Zoom calls plus four hours of OJT or industry certification classes per day 
  • Follow our instructions to promote yourself to permanent employers…success requires your 100% participation!
  • Be professional, follow instructions, and actively engage in the sessions.
  • Possess a laptop, high-speed internet connection, and a quiet workspace.
  • Complete a daily 30-second “End of Day” update/survey form.

Throughout your SkillBridge program, you’ll be introduced to approximately seven companies per day—totaling around 50 organizations. These include well-known brands, hiring managers from various industries, transition experts, and veteran mentors eager to share their insights and support your journey.

 

In addition to career opportunities, you’ll connect with trusted professionals in finance, real estate, car buying, disability rating, education, and industry certifications, ensuring you have the resources needed for a smooth and successful transition.

Frequently asked questions

A 90-120 day remote program designed to help transitioning service members launch successful civilian careers. We equip you with the tools, connections, and skills to secure a rewarding post-military career through career coaching, access to hiring companies, networking, on-the-job training (OJT), and mentorship.
The program is open to transitioning service members approved by their commanding officers within 180 days of their separation date. We seek highly motivated individuals committed to professional development and career success.  Please read our Expectations before applying.

Participants receive:

  • A one-week Career Bootcamp covering resume writing, LinkedIn optimization, and interview preparation.
  • Daily networking events with hiring managers and industry experts.
  • OJT opportunities with military-friendly employers.
  • Guidance on certifications, financial planning, real estate, and disability benefits.
  • Mentorship from veterans and business leaders to support your transition.

The program is 100% free for veterans and SkillBridge participants. Your military pay and benefits remain intact during SkillBridge.

You will be exposed to over 50 companies across multiple industries, including technology, finance, aviation, real estate, cybersecurity, sales, and healthcare. Our network includes well-known brands, hiring managers, veteran mentors, and transition experts.
While job placement is not guaranteed, our program is designed to maximize your hiring potential. Many participants secure full-time roles through their OJT employer or connections made during networking events.

Yes! We encourage participants to pursue certifications and additional training during the program. We also provide resources on how to use your GI Bill benefits for career advancement.

Our program is rolling, with new participants joining every Monday. Once accepted, you’ll receive a start date and detailed program schedule to help you plan your transition.

That is entirely up to you and how much time you will be allowed for SkillBridge.  We like to see a minimum of 60 days for maximum benefit.

Of course!  We’ll just expect you to make up what you’ve missed.  We record all sessions.
