About the Academy

They receive in-person or remote OJT opportunities, connecting them with companies in their desired industry.

They’ll join a cohort of approximately 200 fellow transitioning service members, veterans and military spouses every day.

What to Expect: A Seamless Presenting Experience
- A dedicated 7 Eagle Group POC will schedule a pre-event meeting to:
- Review presentation details.
- Assist with crafting talking points (if needed).
- Address any questions or concerns.
- You'll receive a separate email from zoom.us with login instructions. Alert your POC if you don’t have it.
- Your presentation should last approximately 30 minutes
- Arrive on Zoom 10 minutes before your scheduled presentation time.
- If you encounter login issues, please text 914-469-9875 immediately.
- Ensure your camera remains on throughout the presentation.
- Conduct your session from a professional, quiet setting (avoid presenting from a vehicle)
- Dress code: business casual attire
- Feel free to share your screen if you have a slideshow to enhance your presentation.
- Candidates appreciate interactive sessions, so incorporating engaging discussions or Q&A opportunities will make your presentation even more impactful!
- Deep Dive Into Your Organization – Share your company's mission, values, and impact.
- What Sets You Apart – Explain what makes your company unique and why hiring military talent is a priority for your team.
- Job Opportunities – Highlight open roles, key responsibilities, and the must-have qualifications for candidates.
- Ideal Candidate Traits – Discuss the skills, experience, and characteristics your hiring team looks for in top candidates.
- Q&A Session – Engage with attendees by answering their questions and providing valuable insights.
- We’ll send you a detailed list of attendees who expressed interest in your organization.
- If there’s a mutual interest, you can coordinate interviews directly—or we’d be happy to assist in making the arrangements.

We prefer to manage all new business relationships to ensure a smooth process for candidates and employers.
Participation Agreement
We ask all speakers to acknowledge that any military candidate they connect with at our career fairs is a 7 Eagle-referred candidate.
If your company has job openings, we encourage you to consider hiring from our Talent Network.
