TRAGEDY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR SURVIVORS (TAPS)
TAPS is the leading national non-profit organization providing compassionate care and survivor support services for the families of America’s fallen military heroes. TAPS provides peer-based emotional support, grief and trauma resources, grief seminars for adults, Good Grief Camps for children, case work assistance, connections to community-base care, and a 24/7 resource and information helpline for all who have been affected by a military dearth.
MILITARY WARRIORS SUPPORT FOUNDATION
Military Warriors Support Foundation is a 510(c)(3) non-profit charity with a mission to provide support for our nation’s combat wounded heroes and Gold Star Families as they transition out of the military and into their new civilian life. Their program focus on financial wellness, home and vehicle ownership, leadership development, and recreational activities.
K9S FOR WARRIORS
K9s For Warriors is an American charity and veterans service organization that provides service dogs to Veterans. The organization trains rescue dogs to help Veterans coping with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury, military sexual trauma, post-9/11 issues and other phycological challenges associated with military service.
VETERANS EXPEDITIONS
Veterans Expeditions creates a community that is fully committed to one another, leverages veteran leadership skills, reconnects service members to one another and the land they fought for. By pushing ourselves physically and mentally in our outdoor passions such as mountain climbing, mountain biking, or white-water rafting, we grow stronger together ultimately helping the veteran population thrive.
OUR COMMUNITY SALUTES
Our Community Salutes (OCS) is a national, non-profit organization helping communities recognize, honor and support high school seniors who plan to enlist in the U.S Armed Services after graduation. OCS aims to provide enlistees and their parents with guidance, information, resources and community support from like minded enlistees and parents as their son or daughter transition into military service.
SOLDIERS TO SIDELINES
Soldiers to Sidelines provides training and opportunities for military members to be excellent coaches in various sports so they will inspire, motivate, and encourage athletes.
