We at 7 Eagle Group gives back!

The Navy SEAL Foundation provides immediate and ongoing support and assistance to the Naval Special Warfare community and its families.
Since the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, there has been an unprecedented demand for Special Operations Forces. Never before has so much been asked of so few, from so many, for so long. Established in 2000 to serve U.S. Navy SEALs, Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewmen, Naval Special Warfare support personnel, and their families, the Navy SEAL Foundation’s programs are focused on the preservation of the Naval Special Warfare force and their families. They provide a comprehensive set of programs specifically designed to improve health and welfare, build and enhance resiliency, empower and educate families, and provide critical support during times of illness, injury, loss, and transition.

Today’s generation of Marines has made unprecedented sacrifices. And while there are many ways to honor our Nation’s heroes, there is no organization closer to the intersection of real need and lasting impact than the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation. 7 Eagle Group is honored to support the mission of the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation, an incredible organization that provides college scholarships to the children of U.S. Marines. The organization was founded in 1962 and has funded over 40,000 scholarships totaling $135 million.

The families of our all-volunteer military make unprecedented sacrifices these days to serve our country. Blue Star Families was founded by military spouses in 2009 to empower these families to thrive as they serve. We’re committed to strengthening military families by connecting them with their neighbors – individuals and organizations – to create vibrant communities of mutual support. We believe we’re all stronger when we take care of one another.

Our groundbreaking research is raising the nation’s awareness of the unique challenges of military family life. With the help of neighbors across the country, Blue Star Families is overcoming the isolation and alienation of frequent moves, deployments, and reduced support from the government. Our innovative programs are solving specific challenges for military families, including fighting economic insecurity with resources that foster spouse career development, creating family strength with rich family programming, and providing critical peer support for caregivers, whose numbers are only increasing.

With more than 150,000 members in our network, including in chapters all over the world, Blue Star Families touches more than 1.5 million military family members every year. Through our research and program partnerships, Blue Star Families ensures that wherever American military families go, they can always feel connected, supported and empowered to thrive – in every community, across the nation, and around the globe.  www.BlueStarFam.org

Semper Fi & America’s Fund provides urgently needed resources and lifetime support for combat wounded, critically ill and catastrophically injured members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. Case Managers from the Fund work one-on-one with service members and veterans to understand and support their individual needs right now and throughout their lifetimes.

The Fund keeps its overhead extremely low in order to have the greatest impact on the lives of service members and veterans and has been awarded the highest ratings from watchdog groups: A+ from CharityWatch (one of only two veteran nonprofits to receive this rating last year), eight consecutive 4-star ratings from Charity Navigator (an achievement attained by only 3% of rated charities) and the Platinum Seal of Transparency from GuideStar. The Mission Continues is a national, nonpartisan nonprofit that empowers veterans to continue their service, and empowers communities with veteran talent, skills and preparedness to generate visible impact.

Veterans possess the drive and desire to serve others, but without access to the tools needed, their potential to make meaningful impact at the local level remains untapped. On the other end of the spectrum growing numbers of communities in this country are under-resourced and being left behind.  At The Mission Continues, we’re on a mission to connect veterans with under-resourced communities.

Our programs in cities across the country deploy veteran volunteers alongside nonprofit partners and community leaders to improve educational resources, increase access to parks and green spaces, foster neighborhood identity, and more.  Our vision is for all veterans with a desire to continue their service to be part of a movement to transform communities.  www.MissionContinues.org

Backpacks For Life, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves homeless and at-risk veterans and their families. Backpacks For Life is committed to improving the standards of living for veterans struggling with reintegration into civilian life while simultaneously empowering them with hope and a sense of security in their well-being throughout the process. We do this by bridging the gap between veterans and the resources available to them so that they can get their lives back on track and on a path towards self-sufficiency. Founded by a Marine Veteran and his spouse, since 2014, Backpacks For Life has been serving our veterans in two ways: by regularly distributing backpacks filled with supplies and resources to homeless veterans, and providing coaching and mentorship to veterans seeking resources, care, and assistance in navigating government programs. To date, Backpacks For Life has distributed over 7,600 backpacks to Veterans in 21 states. This November, Backpacks For Life will launch a digital platform called ROGER, for Veterans, spouses & family members as part of their mentorship program. www.backpacksforlife.org
