PARTIES

 

7 Eagle Group (7EG): 

 

A national military-focused Veteran Success Organization specializing in identifying, screening, and presenting highly skilled Military Veterans, Transitioning Service Members, Military Spouses, and occasionally Civilians for employment opportunities specified by the Client.

 

CLIENT 

 

The organization engaging 7EG to fill open positions with qualified candidates.

 

TERMS

 

Skillbridger: A transitioning service member participating in the Department of Defense (DoD) Skillbridge program. The Government funds the service member’s salary, benefits, and insurance for up to six months prior to separation of service.  This allows the Client and service member to “test-drive” the working relationship. If successful, the Client hires the Skillbridger as a permanent W2 employee. Refer to Addendum A for details.

 

Talent Network: Clients receive login credentials to access 7EG’s proprietary online candidate database, which includes highlights, resumes, and video introductions of potential hires.  Clients may evaluate and interview candidates risk-free.  A 7EG Sponsorship Fee is only due if the Client makes a successful hire.  

 

PLANS

 

Option #1: On-Demand

  • Target Audience: Clients seeking their first military hire.
  • Skillbridge Sponsorship Fee: $6,000/hire (New Client Promotion: $5,000/hire)
  • Sponsorship Fee is $500 per week if the Skillbridger is approved to participate in the Skillbridge program for less than three months (12 weeks). 
  • Example:  If the Skillbridger’s duration is 8 weeks (56 calendar days), the Sponsorship Fee is $4,000 ($500/week x 8 weeks) and capped at $6,000.  For new clients, the sponsorship fee will be $500/week for Skillbridgers approved for less than 10 weeks and capped at $5,000.
  • Veteran or Military Spouse Sponsorship Fee: $6,000/hire (New Client Promotion: $5,000/hire)
  • Payment Terms:
    • Option 1: Sponsorship Fee due on the new hire’s Start Date.
    • Option 2: Two installments, with 50% of the Sponsorship Fee due on Skillbridger receiving command approval (or offer letter for Veterans/Spouses), and 50% due on the start date.
  • Guarantee for Skillbridgers: Free replacement for unused time if the hire is terminated due to performance or resigns within 90 days of the Skillbridge period. The guarantee is valid only if payments are made on time.
  • Guarantee for Veterans or Military Spouses: Free replacement if the hire is terminated due to performance or resigns within 90 days of the Start Date. The guarantee is valid only if payments are made on time.
  • Employment Conversion Clause: If the Client converts the Skillbridger into a permanent W2 employee, no additional fees are due.

Option #2: All-Access

  • Target Audience: Clients with recurring military hiring needs.
  • Sponsorship Fee: $15,000/year (New Client Promotion: $12,000/year)
  • Payment Terms:
    • Option 1: $1,250/month (New Client: $1,000/month).  The All-Access plan will begin on the month that coincides with the start date of the first hired Skillbridger.  Monthly payments will begin on the first day of that month. 
  • Example: The Client agrees to the All-Access plan in December, but their first Skillbridger does not start until March 18th. The 12-month All-Access Plan will commence on March 1, with the first monthly installment due.
  • Option 2: $15,000/year (New Client: $12,000/year).  All-Access plans billed annually will receive a 3% discount on annual fees.
  • Inclusions: Company landing page, unlimited hiring, job listings, and four Zoom Career Fairs (see Addendum B for details).
  • Guarantee: Unlimited hires included; no replacement guarantee needed.
  • Renewal: All-Access Agreements will auto-renew on the anniversary of the Client’s All-Access start date at the regular All-Access rate of $1,250/month or $15,000/year unless terminated in writing 30 days before the Client’s anniversary date.
  • Cancellation Policy: If an All-Access Client cancels the Agreement after making at least one hire but before completing the full 12-month term, the Client will owe the LESSER OF:
  • The total remaining balance of the All-Access Sponsorship Fee; OR 
  • The total amount per hire made during the All-Access Plan period at the On-Demand Sponsorship Fee ($6,000/hire) is less than the monthly payments.

Example 1: 3 hires after 9 months (New Client Promotion)

  • All-Access Sponsorship Fee: $12,000 (paid as $1,000/month for 12 months)
  • Amount Paid: $9,000 (9 months x $1,000/month)
  • Total hire costs: 3 hires x $5,000 = $15,000 minus $9,000; remaining balance = $6,000
  • Cancellation fee: $3,000 (lesser of remaining plan fee and remaining hire costs)

Example 2: 1 hire after 4 months (Existing Client)

  • All-Access Sponsorship Fee: $15,000 (paid as $1,250/month for 12 months)
  • Amount Paid: $5,000 (4 months x $1,250/month)
  • Total hire costs: 1 hire x $6,000 = $6,000 minus $5,000; remaining balance =$1,000
  • Cancellation fee: $1,000 (lesser of remaining plan fee and remaining hire costs)

Option #3: Enterprise

  • Target Audience: Clients with extensive military hiring initiatives.
  • Sponsorship Fee: $75,000/year (New Client Promotion: $60,000)
  • Payment Terms:
    • Option 1: $6,250/month (New Client: $5,000/month). The Enterprise plan begins in the month that coincides with the start date of the first hired Skillbridger. Monthly payments begin on the first day of that month. 
    • Option 2: $75,000/year (New Client: $60,000/year).  Enterprise plans billed annually will receive a 3% discount on annual fees.
  • Inclusions: 48-hour exclusive access to new candidates, a dedicated 7EG Client Success team, 12 Zoom Career Fairs, and unlimited hires (see Addendum B for details).
  • Guarantee: Unlimited hires included; no replacement guarantee needed.
  • Renewal: Enterprise Agreements will auto-renew on the anniversary of the Client’s Enterprise start date at the regular Enterprise rate of $6,250/month or $75,000/year unless terminated in writing 30 days before the Client’s anniversary date.
  • Cancellation Policy: If an All-Access Client cancels the Agreement after making at least one hire but before completing the full 12-month term, the Client will owe the LESSER OF:
  • The total remaining balance of the Enterprise Sponsorship Fee; OR 
  • The total amount per hire made during the Enterprise period at the On-Demand Sponsorship Fee ($6,000/hire) is less than the monthly payments made.

Example 1: 7 hires after 6 months (New Client Promotion)

  • Enterprise Sponsorship Fee: $60,000 (paid as $5,000/month for 12 months)
  • Amount Paid: $30,000 (6 months x $5,000/month)
  • Total hire costs: 7 hires x $5,000 = $35,000 minus $30,000; remaining balance = $5,000
  • Cancellation fee: $5,000 (lesser of remaining plan fee and remaining hire costs)

Example 2: 2 hire after 5 months (Existing Client)

  • Enterprise Sponsorship Fee: $75,000 (paid as $6,250/month for 12 months)
  • Amount Paid: $31,250 (5 months x $6,250/month)
  • Total hire costs: 2 hire x $6,000 = $54,000 minus $31,250; remaining balance = $22,750
  • Cancellation fee: $22,750 (lesser of remaining plan fee and remaining hire costs)

GUIDELINES

Sponsoring Skillbridgers:  7EG is an authorized Third-Party Provider with the Department of Defense (DoD), which enables it to sponsor Skillbridgers and approve Clients to host them. 7EG’s current contract with the DoD is valid through June 2025 and is expected to be renewed.

 

However, if the Client anticipates requiring 7EG’s Skillbridge sponsorship services beyond June 2025, in that case, 7EG recommends that the Client consider applying for its own DoD authorization as a precaution in case 7EG’s contract is not renewed.

 

Once the Client becomes an Authorized Provider, the client, not 7EG, will sponsor any Skillbridger hired through the Talent Network.

 

No Guarantee for Skillbridgers:  The final decision on a Candidate’s eligibility for Skillbridge rests entirely with the service member’s Commanding Officer, not 7EG. While approximately 95% of Candidates are approved, this determination is beyond 7EG’s control.

 

Once the Client hires a Skillbridger, 7EG facilitates the process by submitting the required paperwork, including a Training Plan and Offer Letter, to the Commanding Officer. On average, the client takes 30 days to receive confirmation of the Skillbridger’s approval.

 

Client Obligations: Notify 7EG of any hires from the Talent Network or referrals by completing the Offer Letter at https://7eagle.com/client-dashboard.

 

Payment Method: Fees are paid via ACH or credit card. Checks are not accepted. Overdue payments incur a 2% late penalty.

 

Automatic Billing: If the Client opts for a Payment Plan with billing installments, the Client will provide 7EG with payment details, such as a credit card number or bank routing and account numbers (ACH). The Client authorizes 7EG to deduct installments on the specified due dates automatically.

 

Termination: Either party may terminate this Agreement; however, all accrued financial obligations remain binding.

 

7EG-Referred Candidates:  7EG’s Sponsorship Fee is due for any candidate featured in the Talent Network or referred by 7EG hired by the Client for any position within 12 months of the referral. For example, the Sponsorship Fee remains due if the Client interviews a 7EG-referred candidate from the Talent Network in January 2025 but does not hire the candidate until August 2025.

 

However, if the Client refers a Skillbridge candidate to 7EG, a 10% finder’s fee will be deducted from the total On-Demand Sponsorship Fee. Suppose 7EG refers to a candidate active/currently being pursued by the Client. In that case, 7EG is not entitled to any Sponsorship Fee as long as the interview/negotiations took place within the previous 30 days.

 

Candidate Selection:  The Client retains sole discretion over all hiring decisions. 7EG is a Veteran Success organization and assumes no responsibility or influence over the Client’s final choice.

 

Confidentiality:  Both parties agree to safeguard all sensitive information exchanged under this Agreement.

 

Mutual Protection: Each party agrees to defend and indemnify the other against any legal claims or liabilities arising from a breach of this Agreement, failure to perform duties, or intentional misconduct.

 

Limitation of Liability: The Client acknowledges that 7EG is not liable for any misrepresentations or misconduct by Candidates, even if such actions result in losses to the Client. Hiring decisions and Candidate management are the Client’s sole responsibility, with 7EG acting solely as a facilitator.

 

Exclusion of Additional Damages:  Neither party shall be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, arising from this Agreement, regardless of the cause.

 

Governing Law:  This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

 

Entire Agreement:  This Agreement constitutes the complete and final understanding between the parties, superseding all prior discussions, agreements, or representations, whether written or oral.

 

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES & GROUNDS FOR TERMINATION

 

7EG has a zero-tolerance policy for the following actions, which it considers abuse. Engaging in these activities will result in immediate removal from the Talent Network and the cancellation of any active hiring plans. If abuse is determined, outstanding Sponsorship Fees are due immediately.

 

7EG enforces a strict “one strike and you’re out” policy to maintain the integrity of its services.

 

Data Scraping: Clients are strictly prohibited from scraping data from 7EG’s Talent Network. This includes copying and storing candidate information to circumvent 7EG’s Sponsorship Fees.

 

Unauthorized Contact with Candidates:  Clients must conduct all pre-interview communication with Candidates through the Talent Network or a 7EG representative. Clients cannot identify 7EG candidates on platforms like LinkedIn or Indeed and contact them directly without notifying 7EG.

 

Undisclosed Candidate Hires:  7EG employs advanced tracking software to monitor Client activity within the Talent Network. If a Client hires a candidate without notifying 7EG in an attempt to evade Sponsorship Fees, 7EG reserves the right to collect the full applicable fee.

 

Sharing Login Credentials: To ensure the integrity and security of the platform, the Client must never share their login credentials with any outside party.

SKILLBRIDGE OVERVIEW 

 

The Department of Defense (DoD) Skillbridge Program (https://skillbridge.osd.mil/) is a strategic initiative designed to assist Transitioning Service Members in launching successful civilian careers while encouraging companies to tap into the exceptional talent of our nation’s military heroes.

 

Benefits to Service Members:

  • Gain valuable civilian work experience during the final months of military service.
  • Showcase their skills and value to potential employers while continuing to receive military pay.
  • Increase the likelihood of securing a full-time, W2 job offer after transitioning into civilian life, with an 82% conversion rate.

How It Works:

  • The Skillbridger’s Commanding Officer must approve participation and specify the months allowed. While the program allows Service Members to participate for up to 180 days, most are approved for 90 – 120 days.
  • During this time, Skillbridgers are excused from their military duties to focus on gaining work experience. As an authorized Skillbridge Provider, 7EG sponsors the Skillbridger.
  • 7EG identifies and approves hiring companies (Clients) for all management and supervision. Skillbridgers are authorized to work no more than 40 hours per week under the client’s guidance, just like regular employees.
  • Skillbridgers continue to receive their military salary, health insurance, and housing allowance during the program.
  • The Client is not obligated to hire the Skillbridger or to accept a job offer if it is not the right fit.
  • 7EG reserves the right to remove Skillbridgers from a Client’s organization at any time.

Client Responsibilities:

  • Provide both 7EG and the Skillbridger with an estimated full-time W2 salary during the hiring process to ensure compatibility and successful placements.
  • Supervise the Skillbridger for 40 hours per week and NOT pay them a salary.
  • Offer meaningful learning experiences that provide the Skillbridger with valuable career skills and knowledge.
  • Skillbridge is NOT a “free labor” program. Clients are expected to provide substantial work that benefits the Skillbridger and the company rather than assigning mundane tasks like filing, making coffee, making 100 cold calls/day, or other low-level activities. Day-to-day tasks should be commensurate with the position title and in line with the expectations of other employees with similar roles.
  • Submit a brief weekly Check-In Form to 7EG on the Skillbridger’s progress at https://7eagle.com/client-dashboard.
  • The client must notify 7EG immediately if there is subpar performance, absenteeism, or any potential issue with the Skillbridger’s placement.
  • Plan for success and be prepared to extend a permanent, full-time W2 job offer to the Skillbridger after the program.

HOW TO MAXIMIZE PROGRAM SUCCESS

 

LOCATION

  • If you allow the Skillbridger to work remotely from home, 7EG can locate candidates living anywhere, increasing the chances of finding your perfect match.
  • Expect a limited selection of Skillbridgers if your position requires them to work on-site unless you are in a heavily populated military city like San Diego, San Antonio, Tampa, Washington, D.C., Colorado Springs, etc.

COMPENSATION

  • Permanent positions that pay Veterans $60,000 or more attract the most interest from Skillbridgers.
  • If your position’s budget is less than $60,000 or requires extensive civilian experience, we recommend hiring a Veteran.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLSETS

  • Most Skillbridgers possess strong character traits, such as discipline, leadership, coachability, grit, and persistence, and can be trained for any position.
  • Few have worked outside the military, so we recommend hiring veterans if you require civilian experience.
  • 7EG provides a wide range of Candidates, from roughly 23 to 42 years old, with experience levels ranging from Privates to high-ranking retired officers.
  • If your position is more labor intensive—e.g., a $18/hour manufacturing worker—you’ll have more success attracting Veterans.

 

Addendum B

 

ADDITIONAL SERVICES INCLUDED IN  SUBSCRIPTION PLANS

 

Exclusive Access to New Candidates

Enterprise Clients will receive an exclusive 48-hour priority window. All-Access Clients will receive 24 hours to review and evaluate all new candidates added to the Talent Network before making them available to other clients.

 

Dedicated 7EG Client Success Team

Enterprise Clients benefit from a dedicated 7EG Client Success team that support identifying and evaluating candidates. Additionally, they can headhunt candidates outside of the Talent Network if needed.

 

Zoom Career Fairs

7EG will host and promote a monthly Zoom Career Fair exclusively for Enterprise Clients through social media and email campaigns. Clients can showcase their company by providing representatives to promote open positions, share insights about their workplace culture, and even conduct speed interviews if desired. All-Access Clients can participate in a quarterly Zoom Career Fair.

 

Unlimited Hires

Enterprise and All-Access Clients enjoy unlimited hiring access to the Talent Network. The All-Access plan is ideal for clients expecting approximately eight (8) hires per year, while the Enterprise plan is better suited for clients planning to hire more than eight (8) candidates annually. To ensure the best fit, please estimate your hiring needs as accurately as possible.

 

Enterprise and All-Access Clients can showcase all their open positions on the 7EG Job Board, enhancing visibility and attracting more applicants.

 

AUTHORIZATION 

  • By signing below, both 7EG and the Client agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement.
  • RocketLawyer will email a completed Agreement after both parties sign.

 

Payment Authorization
Client authorizes 7 Eagle Group to automatically charge the monthly amount due via Stripe to Client’s designated credit card or bank account via ACH and acknowledges that 7 Eagle Group does not provide monthly invoicing, requiring automatic payment processing for timely and efficient transactions.
