- Exam N10-008 was released September 15, 2021 and will retire December 20, 2024.
- Exam N10-009 was released June 20, 2024 and will be active for approximately three years from its release date.
- Anyone who purchases Network+ will receive Network+ 008 and Network+ 009 content when available.
- Network+ 008 content will be removed sometime after its retirement date, December 20, 2024.

CompTIA PenTest+ is for cybersecurity professionals tasked with penetration testing and vulnerability management.
- CompTIA PenTest+ assesses the most up-to-date penetration testing, and vulnerability assessment and management skills necessary to determine the resiliency of the network against attacks.
